Our client is a manufacturing company for Boxing, MMA and Martial Arts.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Production Manager to lead the manufacturing operations for our Boxing Division. This is a senior-level position requiring deep knowledge of end-to-end production processes, team leadership, and lean manufacturing practices. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in production management, preferably from the boxing, martial arts, or shoe manufacturing industries, and be capable of driving efficiency, quality, and timely output across all production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

Full Production Oversight:

• Manage and oversee all stages of production from cutting to packing, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and productivity standards.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage a large production team, including 400+ machine operators, supervisors, and floor managers. Build team cohesion and accountability across all shifts.

Screen Printing Supervision:

• Oversee in-house screen printing processes, ensuring print quality, alignment with design specs, and proper maintenance of printing equipment.

• Lean Manufacturing Implementation: Introduce and maintain lean manufacturing practices, eliminating waste, optimizing workflows, and improving overall operational efficiency.

Production Audits:

• Conduct regular internal production audits to ensure compliance with SOPs, quality checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Product Development Coordination:

• Collaborate with R&D and design teams to support product development, ensuring production feasibility, prototyping, and smooth handover to mass production.

Process Optimization:

• Continuously evaluate and enhance existing manufacturing processes, equipment utilization, and labor efficiency.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.

Experience:

• 4 plus years of experience in a production management role within the boxing equipment, martial arts gear, footwear, or related manufacturing industries.
• Proven track record of managing large production teams (400+ workers).
• In-depth understanding of cut-to-pack processes in sports or leather goods manufacturing.
• Experience with screen printing operations.
• Hands-on familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
• Demonstrated experience in product development cycles and production audits.
