Hiring Quality Control Manager - Offset Printing | Onsite KHI

Client Introduction:

Offset Printing & Packaging firm that having been in the commercial printing industry for over 20 years.

Job Description:

PRINT:

  • QC to check quality on the start of production on the printing machine at the time of 'MAKE READY'. QC has to check text, colors, registration, sports etc and match with approved shade cards. He has to write a job number and approve and sign on the approved sheet along with the designer, machine operator and Production Manager. Approved/signed sheets to be kept for record.

  • QC to check the job on the print machine after every 1 hour and sign/approve on the production sheet at that time.

  • In case of significant variation or major fault the QC will ask the operator to stop the machine and correct the fault and consult with the Production Manager if required.

UV/LAMINATION:

  • QC has to check the first few sheets on the UV machine for bleeding, shine, and dryness.

  • QC to check on the UV machine after every 1 hour and enter job number and sign on approved sheet signed sheets to be kept for record.

DIE:

  • QC has to check the first few sheets on the Die cutting machine after making boxes from the sheets.

  • To check cutting, alignment, sizing and embossing where applicable.

  • Also to check after every hour.

SORTING:

  • QC to monitor the sorting process.

PASTING:

  • To check pasting on a pasting machine initially on 2-300 boxes and then after every one hour.

6. FINAL QC

  • Check 0.25 - 2% of total job quantity as per parameters on QC report (Job Code). If problems are more than 5% then recheck 100%.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in relevant field

  • Minimum 3 Years of relevant experience in offset printing

    Working Days & Timings: Mon - Sat (9:00am to 5:00pm)
