Hiring QAQC Manager.

Client Company Introduction:
Hiring for a leading manufacturing firm of a variety of plastic bags with over 30 years of excellence in packaging industry.

Role Description:
Control end-to-end quality across blown film extrusion, gravure & flexo printing, solvent-based & solventless lamination, slitting, and bag making, ensuring customer compliance, food safety (where applicable), and continuous reduction in waste, rejections, and complaints

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and maintain QMS (ISO 9001, ISO/FSSC 22000, GMP, HACCP as applicable).
- Lead internal, customer, and certification audits.

- Define IQC standards for resins, masterbatches, inks, solvents, adhesives, films, foils, and accessories.
- Approve suppliers and investigate raw-material-related defects.

- Blown Film: gauge control, haze, gloss, COF, dart impact, tensile & tear (MD/TD); defect control (gels, gauge bands, die lines).
- Printing (Gravure & Flexo): colour consistency (ΔE), registration, ink adhesion, density, print defect control.
- Lamination: bond strength, GSM control, curing, residual solvent limits, delamination & curling control.
- Slitting: roll hardness, edge quality, slit accuracy, tension control.
- Bag Making: seal strength, leak integrity, dimensions, visual quality, drop/burst testing.

- Ensure proper lab setup, testing frequency, calibration, and documentation for all critical parameters.

- Handle complaints, claims, RCA & CAPA.
- Support customer trials, approvals, and audits.

- Reduce scrap, rework, and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
- Drive process improvements with production and R&D.

- Lead QAQC team, define KPIs, and conduct technical & food-safety training.

Qualification & Experience:

- Degree in Polymer, Chemical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering.

- 5–15 years QAQC experience in flexible packaging with hands-on exposure to extrusion, printing, lamination, and bag making.

- Experience with FMCG / MNC/ Export customers preferred

Experience: 5-15 Years
Location: FB Area, Karachi
Work Timings: 10AM - 7PM
Work Days: Monday to Saturday
