Job Description:

We're hiring a Senior QA Engineer to take ownership of quality across our web and SaaS platforms. This role goes beyond test execution. You'll shape QA strategy, improve processes, and help the team ship reliable, high-performing products at scale. You'll work closely with engineering, product, and design to ensure every release meets a high standard of usability, performance, and stability.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end testing for web and SaaS applications
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable test strategies (manual and automated)
- Build and improve automated test suites using modern frameworks
- Define test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for new features
- Drive regression, integration, and exploratory testing efforts
- Identify, document, and priorities defects with clear reproduction steps
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve code quality
- Own QA processes across release cycles, including CI/CD integration
- Monitor product quality metrics and recommend improvements
- Advocate for best practices in testing, performance, and accessibility
- Mentor junior QA team members and uplift overall QA standards

Requirements

- 5+ years experience in QA, with strong exposure to web and SaaS products
- Proven experience with test automation tools (e.g. Cypress, Playwright, Selenium)
- Solid understanding of modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience testing APIs (REST/GraphQL) using tools like Postman or similar
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests
- Strong knowledge of cross-browser and cross-device testing
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g. Jira, TestRail)
- Ability to design scalable QA processes, not just execute tests
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Clear communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g. Lighthouse, k6, JMeter)
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience testing microservices architectures
- Basic coding skills for test scripting (JavaScript, Python, or similar)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
