Role Overview:

We are hiring a Mechanical Product Design Engineer to develop innovative hardware products from concept to prototype. The role includes 3D CAD design (SolidWorks/Fusion 360), industrial design, mechanical assemblies, enclosure design, prototyping, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM). Candidates should have experience designing for 3D printing, CNC machining, sheet metal, and injection molding, and be able to collaborate with electronics and embedded teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical products and hardware components from concept to production.

• Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks or Fusion 360.

• Design enclosures, mechanical assemblies, and structural components for electronic products.

• Develop prototypes using 3D printing, CNC machining, sheet metal, and injection molding processes.

• Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to optimize product performance, quality, and cost.

• Collaborate with electronics, embedded, and industrial design teams to integrate mechanical and electrical components.

• Conduct design reviews, tolerance analysis, and validation testing to ensure product reliability.

• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers during prototyping and production.

• Identify and resolve design issues throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, drawings, and revision control.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Design Engineering, or a related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical product design or hardware product development.

• Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or Fusion 360 for 3D modeling and assemblies.

• Hands-on experience with 3D printing, CNC machining, sheet metal, and injection molding design.

• Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.

• Experience designing mechanical enclosures, brackets, housings, and precision components.

• Knowledge of material selection, GD&T, tolerancing, and manufacturing processes.

• Familiarity with prototyping, testing, and product validation.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional product development environment.

Working Days: Monday to Saturday (Alternate Saturdays are off)
