About the job Senior Ads Manager | Lahore (On-site | Night Shift) | PKR Salary
About the Company: Hiring for a Certified US-based Digital Marketing Agency, focused on maximizing your Marketing ROI.
Role Overview - Senior Ads Manager
About the Role:
We are hiring a Performance Ads Manager who owns paid media outcomes end-to-end. This is a senior role for someone who combines strategic thinking, execution depth, team leadership, and accountability.
This role is not about operating campaigns in isolation. It is about building, scaling, and governing paid media systems that directly impact client revenue.
You will lead strategy, execution, optimization, reporting, and team performance across Paid Search and Paid Social channels.
This role carries partial Senior Manager accountability, including account cluster ownership, cross-team alignment, and system-level quality governance.
Responsibilities (Non-Negotiable)
6+ years of hands-on experience in Paid Media (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads)
Minimum 2 years in a managerial or lead role, preferably within an agency
Proven experience owning strategy, budgets, and performance outcomes, not just execution
Strong command over Paid Search and Paid Social planning and scaling
Deep understanding of conversion tracking, attribution, and analytics
Ability to push back on weak strategies, poor execution, or unrealistic expectations
Comfortable being accountable for wins and losses
Demonstrated history of running accounts or portfolios with near-zero preventable client-facing errors.
Our Performance & Accountability Bar
At company, paid media is judged on business impact, not vanity metrics.
This role is responsible for ensuring:
Every campaign has a clear growth objective
Tracking is accurate, validated, and decision-ready
Optimizations are driven by data, not assumptions
Average performance is challenged aggressively
You are expected to act as a final performance owner, not a channel operator. Preventable failures in tracking, QA, or execution at this level are treated as leadership breakdowns, not execution misses.
What You'll Be Doing
Strategy & Ownership
Own paid media strategy across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, and future platforms
Translate client business goals into scalable acquisition strategies
Forecast performance, budgets, and expected outcomes with confidence
Identify growth opportunities and efficiency improvements proactively
Own quarterly and monthly paid media roadmaps aligned with client revenue targets
Accountable for portfolio-level performance consistency, not just individual account wins.
Team Leadership & Management
Directly manage and mentor Paid Media Executives and Assistant Managers
Conduct performance reviews, skill gap analysis, and structured training sessions
Enforce campaign standards, documentation, and optimization discipline
Build a culture of ownership, experimentation, and accountability
Define internal SOPs for campaign launches, audits, and optimization workflows
Own QA systems across the team; errors escaping lower levels reflect managerial failure.
Expected to actively develop future Assistant Managers and Managers through real responsibility delegation.
Campaign Execution & Optimization
Plan, launch, scale, and optimize Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns
Lead A/B testing across audiences, creatives, messaging, and landing pages
Use structured experimentation frameworks to validate hypothesis
Ensure platform compliance and brand alignment across all campaigns
Drive cross-channel learning by sharing insights between search, social, and CRO efforts
Zero-mistake launch standards apply across all accounts under your control.
Repeated preventable execution errors across the team will directly impact performance evaluations.
Analytics, Tracking & Reporting
Build and maintain advanced reporting frameworks using GA4, GTM, and Looker Studio
Ensure accurate conversion tracking, event setups, and attribution logic
Translate complex datasets into clear performance narratives
Lead weekly and monthly performance reviews with clients
Own data validation processes to ensure reporting accuracy before client delivery
Accountable for data trust across the entire account cluster; clients must never question numbers due to Ads-side failures.
AI, Automation & Innovation
- Use AI and automation tools to improve:
Campaign planning and forecasting
Creative testing and messaging intelligence
Reporting speed and insight generation
Apply AI responsibly while maintaining human judgment and platform compliance
Each quarter is expected to produce at least one measurable system, QA, or workflow improvement aligned with Ads Department 2026 goals.

- Expert-level proficiency in:
Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads
Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager
Google Sheets, Excel, Docs, and Office tools
Task management tools e.g. ClickUp, Asana
Strong research skills using Ahrefs, SEMrush, and similar tools
Experience with budget pacing, bid strategies, and advanced audience segmentation
Familiarity with CRM integrations and offline conversion tracking is a strong plus
Expected to enforce tooling and documentation discipline across the team.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
Strong critical thinking and diagnostic skills
Ability to identify root causes behind performance fluctuations
Stay current with platform changes, privacy regulations, and industry trends
Convert insights into clear next actions for teams and clients
Ability to challenge client assumptions using data-backed reasoning
Expected to coach teams on diagnostic thinking, not just provide answers.
Communication & Client Partnership
Serve as a strategic partner to clients, not just an execution lead
Lead performance calls with clarity, confidence, and control
Communicate wins, risks, and next steps transparently
Use AI to speed up reporting while improving clarity and strategic framing
Ability to manage difficult performance conversations without deflecting accountability
Client trust, retention, and confidence in Ads data are direct reflections of this role.
Work Ethic & Growth Potential
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Comfortable handling multiple accounts without quality dilution
Takes full ownership of performance outcomes
Strong desire to grow into a senior leadership role
Demonstrated ability to build scalable systems, not dependency-driven processes
Readiness for Senior Ads Manager is evaluated on system strength, team maturity, and error prevention, not heroics.
Industry Awareness
Actively track paid media trends, platform updates, and competitive benchmarks
Continuously refine strategies based on market behavior and performance data
Expected to set the quality and performance benchmark for the Ads department.
This Role Is NOT for You If
You need constant supervision
You avoid tough performance conversations
You optimize campaigns but do not own outcomes
You prioritize activity over impact
You tolerate repeatable mistakes or lack enforcement discipline.
Performance KPIs Owned by This Role
Account-level ROI and CPL efficiency
Budget utilization and pacing accuracy
Testing velocity and learning adoption
Client retention and satisfaction
Team performance and skill progression
