Job Description:

As a Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable and efficient technology solutions that align with business goals. You will collaborate with development, DevOps, and IT teams to drive architectural decisions, ensuring that our systems are secure, reliable, and optimized for both cloud and on-premise environments. Your deep knowledge of solution architecture and your ability to work across different technology stacks will help guide our development projects and ensure that they meet the highest standards of performance and scalability.

Responsibilities:

  • ‌Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, design, development, and operations to create comprehensive technical solutions.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable, reliable, and secure architecture solutions for cloud-based (SaaS/PaaS) and on-premise environments.

  • Assist in developing technology roadmaps that align with both short-term project goals and long-term business objectives.

  • Provide technical leadership on system design, architecture, and integration of various components.

  • Ensure the proper implementation of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.

  • Evaluate and recommend technology stacks and architectural patterns based on project needs, industry standards, and best practices.

  • Design and oversee the architecture of databases, ensuring optimization for both SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.

  • Contribute to architectural decisions that ensure the scalability, security, and performance of all systems.

  • Collaborate with software engineers and DevOps teams to implement deployment strategies for online cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and offline servers.

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies, and recommend their integration to enhance system performance.

  • Ensure adherence to architecture governance and best practices in code reviews, documentation, and project management.

  • Create architectural documentation and maintain records to guide teams and ensure proper implementation.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8 to 12 years of experience in software development or architecture with at least 2 to 4 years of experience in solution architecture.
  • Proven experience in designing and architecting SaaS and PaaS-based solutions, including cloud deployments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and on-premise systems.
  • Expertise in both SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) database architecture and optimization

  • Hands-on experience with multiple technology stacks (e.g., MERN/MEAN, .NET, Java, Python).

  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, containerization, and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, automated testing).

  • Ability to make sound architectural decisions that balance business requirements with technical best practices.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with architectural design tools and practices (e.g., UML, TOGAF, AWS Architecture Framework).

Working Timings: 11AM - 8PM

Location: Lahore

Work Mode: Onsite
