Job Summary:

The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company by leading projects for UK-based clients and implementing best practices within a new and dynamic team. This role involves managing client expectations, coordinating project timelines, and ensuring timely delivery of data analytics projects. Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans with clear objectives, milestones, and deliverables tailored to UK-based clients.
  • Assign tasks to team members, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met consistently.
  • Take detailed meeting notes, circulate responsibilities, and monitor action items to maintain team alignment.
  • Manage timesheets and oversee team productivity, ensuring optimal use of resources.

Implement Best Practices:

  • Introduce and establish project management best practices and workflows to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Implement and manage project management tools (e.g. Trello) to streamline processes and improve team collaboration.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine operational procedures to support the team's growth and success.

Team Leadership and Development:

    • Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture, encouraging open communication and continuous improvement.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting professional development and skill enhancement.
    • Assist with recruitment efforts as needed for project requirements, helping to build a strong and capable team.

    Client Communication and Relationship Management:

      • Serve as the primary point of contact for UK clients, ensuring effective communication and understanding of client needs.
      • Regularly update clients on project progress, gather feedback, and adjust plans as necessary to meet expectations.
      • Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster trust and long-term partnerships.

      Operational Support and Flexibility:

        • Contribute to the company's online presence by assisting with website updates and managing social media activities.
        • Adapt to various roles and responsibilities typical of a startup environment, proactively addressing challenges and opportunities.
        • Embrace the dynamic nature of the role, applying creativity and initiative to support overall business objectives.

        Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:

          • Review project deliverables to ensure they meet client specifications and high-quality standards before submission.
          • Collect and analyse feedback to implement improvements in processes and services.
          • Monitor team performance metrics and implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.

          Qualifications:

            • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Computer Science or a related field.
            • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in a startup, consulting, or data analytics environment.
            • Demonstrated ability to implement project management best practices and tools effectively.
            • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
            • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse responsibilities.
            • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Trello, Asana) and Microsoft Office Suite.
            • Experience managing teams, tracking productivity metrics, and handling timesheet management.
            • A proactive mindset with a willingness to take initiative and contribute to various aspects of the business.
