Role Overview: Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a decisive personality figure for the position of "Senior Technical Project Manager" to guarantee the successful delivery of our product features and client projects. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, project management proficiency and strong communication skills.

Your responsibilities will be overseeing and managing products and projects related to the development and upkeep of applications. This role requires coordination and leadership of cross-functional teams, ensuring the timely completion of client requirements and projects within scope, while meeting quality standards.
Moreover, you will be tasked with supervising the entire product/project lifecycle, from initiation to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading the project team and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product goals, scope and deliverables

Creating product / project plans, timelines, and budgets and ensuring they are adhered throughout the project lifecycle

Monitoring work-in-progress and making necessary adjustments to ensure that deadlines are met

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies (Agile, Scrum & waterfall

Communicating with clients to understand their needs and ensure that projects meet their expectations

Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues

Providing regular project status updates to stakeholders and management

Ensure proper software product life cycle is applied with excellent project management techniques

Ensure significant software design patterns and principles are applied in all the areas of the domain

You are expected to be self-driven, self-managed with good time management skills and positive mind set

Collaborate well with other team members to identify and troubleshoot issues

Keep up to date with the latest software and product trends and technologies

Implement delivery plans, timely bugs fixing management implementation

Make proper use of Project management and source control tools / databases and cloud computing platforms

Work with the team to develop and maintain product documentation

You are expected to be great at Tech planning / documentation / ensure quality assurance / make plan to mitigate risks and leading the team from the front

You are expected to have excellent communication with the clients (written & verbal) as you will be representing the Company

• Proven ability to scale distributed teams while maintaining delivery velocity and engineering quality.

• Strong experience in resource capacity planning, sprint velocity management, and workload balancing.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

Proven experience (at least 5 years +) in project management within a technical environment

Fluent in English

Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is a plus

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, waterfall etc.)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

Proficiency in project management tools and software

Must Have:

Leadership and team-building skills

Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

Hands-on experience with JIRA / Teams / Dashboards etc.

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to thrive under pressure

Other Details:
Experience: 3-5 years
Work Timings: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
Work Days: Monday - Friday
Location: Fortune Tower, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi 75400, Pakistan.
