Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate, diligent, ambitious, and reliable junior / mid-level front-end developer to join us. We are offering a full-time position (Karachi Office), excellent working conditions, and career progression, working closely with the Director and CEO!

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated junior / mid-level Front-End Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in React, Node, Express.js, NEXT.js, unit tests, an understanding of infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines, and an understanding of code versioning tools.

Responsibility:

• Develop interactive and responsive web applications using React.js, Next.js, and Node.js.
• Collaborate with design teams to implement UI/UX designs that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
• Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in frontend development.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth application performance.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and workflows.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in web development
• Strong experience in React, Next.js, Node, and Express.js.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme) is a plus.
• Familiarity with server-side rendering and SEO best practices is a plus.
