A prominent conglomerate/group has launched a BPO business with a focus on technology solutions and seeking exceptional individuals to join their team. The conglomerate operates in and runs various business verticals including logistics, distribution, food retail, market research and data, agri-services, tourism and hospitality, and customer engagement platforms.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Senior or Mid-Level MERN Engineer to join our growing team. As a MERN Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. You will work closely with our product and design teams to create scalable and efficient solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).

- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Requirements:

- For Senior Level:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in web development, with a focus on the MERN stack.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and JavaScript object model.

- Extensive experience with React.js and its core principles.

- Solid understanding of Node.js and Express.js.

- Proficiency in MongoDB, including schema design and optimization.

- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- For Mid-Level:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 2-4 years of experience in web development, with hands-on experience in the MERN stack.

- Proficiency in JavaScript and its modern frameworks and libraries.

- Experience with React.js and Node.js.

- Understanding of Express.js and MongoDB.

- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.

- Familiarity with Git and version control.

- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice-to-Have:

- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and SASS.

- Experience with TypeScript.

- Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth and JWT.

Work Timings: Monday to Friday - Night Shift (US Timings) 5pm - 2am
