Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:

Senior QA Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and stability of various front-end, back-end, and decentralized applications (dApps). Candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating closely with developers to deliver high-quality products. This role requires a deep understanding of QA methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for finding and fixing bugs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, maintain and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for front-end, back-end, and dApp (blockchain) components
• Perform various types of testing, including functional testing, UI testing, regression testing, usability testing, integration testing

• Identify, document, and track defects

• Follow defects resolution

• Proactively identify potential issues and risks

• Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

Requirements:

Must-Have:

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance
• Fluent English
• Experience testing dApps and understanding of web3 and blockchain technology is highly desirable
• Proven experience testing front-end and back-end applications
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, principles, and best practices
• Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools (e.g. Jira)
• Good understanding of at least one programming language (Javascript/Typescript is preferred)
• Strong experience with API testing and tools like Postman
• Proactive team player with strong communication & organizational skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details

Nice to-Have:

• Experience with test automation (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Puppeteer with JavaScript/Typescript)
• Experience with performance testing
• Experience of testing in microservices architecture
• ISTQB certification

Work Timings / Day: Monday to Friday 09:00 am to 6:00 pm
Work Mode: Onsite
Location: Lahore
