Senior PHP Developer

A leading online automotive marketplace, connecting buyers and sellers across the UAE is hiring Senior PHP Developer !

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Laravel, Node.js, or similar backend frameworks.

- Follow SOLID principles and clean architecture practices in all layers of development.

- Architect and maintain RESTful APIs with robust authentication, authorization, and security.

- Optimize backend and frontend code for performance and scalability.

- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to ensure data integrity and efficiency.

- Utilize AWS services to build scalable and resilient cloud-native systems.

- Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to improving engineering standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical design, planning, and delivery.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools for reliable deployments and performance tracking.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 6+ years of full-stack development experience with a strong backend focus.

- Proficiency in PHP/Laravel for backend development.

- Deep understanding of SOLID principles, system design, and scalable architecture.

- Proven experience building applications at scale (high-traffic, multi-region, or complex systems).

- Strong command of AWS services and infrastructure design.

- Proficiency with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.

- Familiarity with CI/CD, Git workflows, and containerized environments (Docker, etc.).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication in a collaborative environment.
