UI UX Designer

We're hiring UI/UX Designer (Onsite - Islamabad)

Introduction of the client company:

A leading US-based healthcare company headquartered in New York with a 50+ workforce is hiring a UI/UX Designer for its Islamabad Office.  

Job Description:

As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing seamless, intuitive, and visually compelling user experiences across our digital healthcare platforms. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and clinical stakeholders to turn complex workflows into elegant, user-friendly interfaces. Your role is pivotal in ensuring design consistency, accessibility, and usability across web and mobile applications, with a strong focus on healthcare user needs. Youll contribute to building scalable design systems and creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals that bring our digital vision to life.

Key Responsibilities (Duties on which candidate will spend more than 70% of time)

UI/UX Design & Research:

• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points.
• Design wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps that clearly illustrate functionality and behavior.
• Create high-fidelity UI designs and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Maintain and evolve the design system for visual consistency across the platform.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs.
• Apply best practices for accessibility, responsive design, and mobile-first approaches.
• Iterate designs based on user feedback and analytics to continuously improve usability.
• Deliver design specifications, assets, and documentation for development teams.

Key Responsibilities (Duties on which candidate will spend less than 30% of time)

• Assist marketing team with UI assets for campaigns and communications.
• Provide design support for internal tools and dashboards.
• Stay updated with UI/UX trends and emerging design technologies.
• Support in developing branding and visual identity assets when required.
• Collaborate with QA for user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Conduct heuristic evaluations and accessibility audits.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar tools
• Strong grasp of UI/UX principles and user-centered design
• Experience with design systems and responsive design
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and frontend capabilities
• Excellent visual design and typography skills
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX strategy and visual storytelling
• Ability to turn complex requirements into simple, usable designs

Industry Expertise:

• Experience designing interfaces for healthcare platforms, EHR/EMR systems, telehealth products, or related tools. 
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and clinical user workflows is a plus.

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in SaaS or healthcare.

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Job Mode: Full Time Onsite

Location: Blue Area, Islamabad.

Salary Range: Up to 250K

Work Hours 11 AM to 8 PM PKT
