Full Stack Developer (Node.js and Svelte 5) Remote

Job Description:

Were looking for a Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on Node.js and Svelte 5 to join our fast-paced, product-driven team. You'll be working on scalable applications with real-time communication, intelligent backend logic, and a modern UI.

This is not an entry-level role. We expect a strong portfolio of past projects and a mindset focused on delivery, not just code.

What You'll Work On

• Build and maintain APIs using Node.js
• Develop and refine UI/UX with Svelte 5
• Integrate and manage message queues (e.g., BullMQ, RabbitMQ)
• Work with PostgreSQL, ensuring performance and reliability
• Architect systems involving proxies, reverse proxies, and efficient request handling
• Implement authentication flows, rate limiting, and secure APIs
• Leverage Redis and caching layers to optimize performance
• Design and contribute to service-oriented architecture
• Communicate closely with the team to ensure fast feedback loops and delivery

Requirements

• Strong experience with Node.js (Express, Fastify, etc.)
• Solid hands-on experience with Svelte 5
• Real-world experience with message queues
• Understanding of WebSocket-based systems and async flows
• Deep familiarity with proxies, networking, and request pipelines
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, especially around large datasets
• Experience with Redis and caching strategies
• Solid grasp of microservices and service-based systems
• Experience building secure, scalable authentication and access logic
• Must be able to demonstrate ownership and deliver independently
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Must be a team player, self-organized, and highly skilled
• Strong Git knowledge and version control best practices
• Comfortable using Cursor as your coding environment
• Interest in AI tools and workflows
• Willingness to take on mundane tasks when needed
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools and approaches

Work Mode: Onsite - Full Time
Location: Remote
Experience: 2+ years
Days: Monday to Friday
Timing: Minimum 8 hours/day, Monday - Friday but you're free to work up to 14 hours/day
Salary: Market Competitive
