Job Description:
The Bid Writer will be responsible for producing high-quality, compelling proposals and tender submissions that clearly articulate Crystal Facilities Managements value proposition. The role requires exceptional writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate technical and operational information into persuasive and compliant bid responses.
Key Responsibilities:
Bid Preparation & Writing:
- Research, write, and edit tender responses, pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs), and proposal documents.
- Ensure each submission is fully compliant with client requirements and aligned with company standards.
- Develop and maintain bid content library, templates, and case studies.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with the Operations, Finance, HR, and Sales teams to gather input and technical information for proposals.
- Coordinate with the design team to ensure professional and visually appealing presentation of documents.
Manage multiple deadlines and priorities across simultaneous bids.
Strategy & Storyboarding:
- Participate in bid strategy meetings to understand client requirements and develop win themes.
- Contribute ideas and innovative approaches to strengthen the overall bid narrative.
- Review and critique draft responses from subject matter experts to ensure clarity, consistency, and persuasiveness.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct proofreading, formatting, and compliance checks before submission.
- Ensure all bids follow company branding and are free from grammatical or factual errors.
Continuous Improvement:
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitor offerings, and client expectations.
- Contribute to lessons-learned sessions after each bid to improve future submissions.

- Attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in English, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document design tools.
- Familiarity with public and private sector tender processes is highly desirable.

Trainee - 6 months - 1 Year
Bid Writer - 2-3 years
Work Timings: 12:00pm 8:00pm (in Summers) and 1:00pm 9:00pm (in winters)
Work Days: Monday- Friday
Work Mode: Onsite
Location: Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi
