Technical Consultant

About Our Client:

It is a leading software development company specializing in B2B and B2C solutions, custom software development, and software exports, serving both local and international markets.

Primary Duties:

• Act as the primary technical contact for clients during pre-sales, onboarding, and early-stage project planning.
• Translate business requirements into technical scopes, specifications, and wireframes in collaboration with project and engineering teams.
• Engage in client meetings, discovery sessions, and solution design workshops to ensure alignment on goals and expectations.
• Assist business development teams in technical proposal writing, estimations, and feasibility assessments.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by offering technical guidance and proactive support.
• Coordinate with engineering, QA, and design teams to ensure handovers are efficient and deliverables are aligned with client needs.
• Support technical demos, proof of concepts (PoCs), and walkthroughs as part of the sales cycle.
• Understand technical trade-offs and communicate them clearly to clients and stakeholders.

Secondary Duties:

• Occasionally, prototype or develop lightweight PoCs to validate solution approaches.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and frameworks relevant to client industries.
• Provide input during sprint planning and retrospective sessions to improve delivery workflows.
• Support documentation efforts such as writing user stories, technical specs, or internal wikis.
• Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities through a deeper understanding of the client's long-term needs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering or solution consulting roles.
• Strong knowledge of both front-end and back-end development (e.g., React, Vue.js, Node.js, Python, .NET Core).
• Experience in a client-facing or technical consulting capacity.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
• Comfortable working with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence, Notion).
• Proven ability to coordinate across design, development, and QA functions.
• Understanding of Agile and iterative delivery methodologies.
• Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Work Mode: Onsite - Full Time

Location: Islamabad

Experience: 3 + years

Timings:

Monday to Friday: 09:00 to 18:00 Morning Shift
