iOS Architect (On-site/ Hybrid)

A Leading US-based web solutions company is hiring an iOS Architect for its Karachi office.

We seek an expert-level iOS Architect with 8+ years of professional experience and deep expertise in Swift to design scalable, high-performance mobile applications. This is a leadership role that combines hands-on development with architectural vision and mentorship responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design advanced iOS applications from the ground up using Swift and modern Apple frameworks.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable apps.

• Lead and mentor iOS developers, define coding standards, and perform in-depth code reviews.

• Optimize app performance, memory usage, and responsiveness across devices.

• Establish and enforce architectural patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture.

• Integrate with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and third-party SDKs.

• Ensure robust security, crash handling, and adherence to Apple's guidelines and policies.

• Manage CI/CD pipelines and automated testing environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 8+ years of iOS development experience, including 3+ years in an architectural or lead role.

• Expert in Swift with deep knowledge of the iOS SDK and native frameworks.

• Strong understanding of memory management, multithreading, async/await, and performance optimization.

• Proven experience with design patterns, scalable architecture, and modular app development.

• Proficient in Xcode, Instruments, Git, and CI/CD tools such as Fastlane, Bitrise, or Jenkins.

• Skilled in unit testing, UI testing, and mobile automation tools.

• Experience in publishing and maintaining multiple apps on the App Store.

• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams with clear sprint planning and code quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, trading, or stock market applications.

• Familiarity with SwiftUI, Combine, or ReactiveSwift.

• Exposure to containerization (Docker), cloud integration (Firebase, AWS), and DevOps workflows.

• Working knowledge of Flutter or React Native is a bonus.
