Job Overview

We are hiring a skilled Chinese Translator to support communication and daily operations at a Chinese restaurant in Karachi. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Chinese and English and capable of bridging communication between Chinese management, local staff, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate two-way translation between Chinese and local languages (English/Urdu) to ensure smooth communication.
• Coordinate effectively between Chinese management, local employees, and vendors.
• Assist the Chinese team in daily restaurant operations and management tasks.
• Handle fieldwork, including outdoor procurement and sourcing of food ingredients, materials, and equipment.
• Maintain daily records, documents, and ledgers.
• Perform administrative and assistant duties as assigned by the management team.

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in Chinese and English (listening, speaking, reading, and typing/input methods).
• Strong verbal communication skills with accurate translation ability.
• Familiarity with restaurant, catering, or business terminology is a plus.
• Hardworking, reliable, and disciplined with the ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to perform fieldwork and work flexible shifts.
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to long-term employment.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a dynamic environment.
