Role Overview – Senior Specialist -D365 CE Technical Consultant

PURPOSE

D365 CE Consultant is accountable for making sure the lifecycle of the Dynamics solution is delivered as per expected milestones and goals. And is also responsible for a timely and quality-based delivery of security, and Integration in Future Dynamics program as well as driving the enhancements, and automation as part of AGI's center of excellence.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

STRATEGIC

• Delivery of quality products within committed timeframes.

• Proactively communicate and resolve issues across the team and management that impacted the project's success.

• Ensure management is aware of any issues or risks before their occurrence.

• Ensure all process gaps are addressed as per Microsoft guidelines and are in line with Microsoft's future roadmap.

• Understand and follow the full software development lifecycle while using the standard process.

OPERATIONAL

• Ensure the build phase of projects is delivered on time and with a quality build.

• Ensure complete understanding of the development estimate and project scope.

• Write Technical specifications and collaborate with the functional team to ensure functional and technical requirements are

• understood and well defined.

• Solving technical issues encountered, raising to Microsoft if required.

• Reviewing of Functional design document with the Functional Consultant. Work collaboratively on the best feasible solution.

• Building a custom solution within Dynamics 365 as per the agreement with the project team.

• Follow MS best practices and code optimization.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Be a part of training with the team to keep them updated on upcoming releases, debugging processes, builds, configurations, and code processes.

• Coordinate with the team to align on progress and ensure deliverables are met as per expectations.

Product/ Process Improvement

• Ensure all development and testing processes are followed.

• Design the solution by following best practices and ensuring a good quality of customization delivery.

• Fully utilizes Microsoft Technology and ALM stack (LCS, BPM, VSTS, Task guides, PowerApps, Office 365)

• Ensure the customization process is followed as per MS best practice, and the ALM cycle is followed.

• Document the system extensions and integrations in technical design documentation and prepare project documentation on deliverables.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information System or Engineering.

• Microsoft certified professional.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL:

• The skill to include Build management, Change management, release management, configuration management, system

• integration, system security, Life cycle methodologies, Quality Assurance and Testing, Requirement Gathering, and system analysis and Design.

• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and with MS Best Practices.

• Experience in delivering complex processes/ projects throughout the Project Lifecycle.

• Expert in logical reasoning and problem-solving ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism.

• Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure and practices, including Azure and DevOps, would be a plus.

• Broad understanding of software development lifecycle, development management, release management, and hyper-care support.

• Deep understanding of sales, customer service, marketing, and field service processes.

• Knowledge of lead-to-opportunity, case management, SLAs, queues, knowledge management, etc.

• Customizing entities/tables, forms, views, and dashboards.

• Managing business rules, business process flows, workflows, and Power Automate flows.

• Configuring security roles, teams, and field-level security.

• Managing solutions, environments, and ALM basics.

• Writing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and test cases.

• Conducting UAT, training sessions, and go-live support.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

• JavaScript for form scripting.

• C# plugins, custom workflow activities.

• Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) basics.

• Web resources and custom controls.

• Working with REST APIs, OData, Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Function Apps.

EXPERIENCE:

• 7+ Years of experience in implementing MS D365 solution across the globe.

• 4+ end-to-end implementations in MS Stack.

• Extensive experience in implementing Reporting and Security in D365.

• Experience in integrating D365 with other applications.

• Experience in working with Power Apps, Flows, and Power BI would be a plus.
