Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Client Company Introduction:

Ireland based Leading Software Engineering Company delivering innovative, AI-powered platforms for global clients.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on AI Architect who bridges software development, data engineering, and advanced AI/ML. You will design and code AI solutions that leverage large language models, embeddings, and retrieval augmented generation while ensuring robust data pipelines and integration with our software products. This role requires a strong foundation in software engineering and data engineering along with deep expertise in AI/ML.

Main Role:
Own end-to-end delivery of AI-powered web applications. Build modern React front ends, Node and Python services, and production-grade agents. Ship to Kubernetes with strong reliability and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement React apps with TypeScript and modern state management.

• Build Node services and Python microservices for AI and data workflows.

• Architect, orchestrate, and evaluate agentic AI systems including tool use, planning, and multi-step reasoning.

• Productions models and agents: prompt design, guardrails, evals, observability, latency, and cost controls.

• Operate services on Kubernetes: containerization, Helm, CI/CD, autoscoring, secrets, monitoring, on-call ownership.

• Champion code quality: reviews, tests, linting, performance profiling, documentation.
  

Must-have experience

• 4+ years professional software engineering with shipped products.
• React, TypeScript, Vite or Next.js.
  
• Node.js, Express/Fastify; Python for AI and backend tasks.
• Hands-on with agentic AI frameworks and patterns: function/tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation, planners, evaluators, guards, memory, agents that call external APIs.
• LLM ops: vector stores, embeddings, prompt/version management, offline evals, tracing.
• Kubernetes in production: Helm or Kustomize, Horizontal Pod Autoscaler, Ingress, service mesh basics, logging and metrics with Prometheus/Grafana or Open Telemetry.
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI; Docker best practices.
  Security hygiene: secrets management, RBAC, network policies, OWASP ASVS awareness.

Nice to have:

• Next.js App Router, React Server Components.
• PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka.
• Cloud: AWS or GCP (EKS/GKE), IAM, networking.
• Lang Chain, Llama Index, Instructor, Guardrails, OpenAI/Azure, Anthropic,
  Open Telemetry traces.
• Experience building internal platforms or SDKs.
