JOB TITLE: HEAD OF SEO / SEO TEAM LEAD

ABOUT THE CLIENT
A leading performance marketing agency serving 50+ US home-services businesses on recurring retainers. We build lead-generation engines through paid search, local SEO, conversion tracking, and lead analytics—making ROI visible in dollars.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Our clients are US home-services businesses. Their customers find them through Google Local Pack, Google Maps, and increasingly through AI-powered search experiences such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Bing/Copilot.

This is a leadership and client-facing role. You will lead the SEO department, own organic lead-generation outcomes, and represent organic strategy and performance directly on client calls.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage the SEO team, including setting standards, workflows, training, and QA.
Drive Local SEO performance, including GBP optimization, Local Pack and Maps rankings, citations, reviews, and service-area pages.
Own AI Search Visibility (AEO/GEO) across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Bing/Copilot.
Drive organic-attributed qualified leads and contribute to reducing blended CPL.
Oversee technical SEO, content strategy, and authority building.
Manage SEO deliverables and ensure quality before they reach clients.
Work closely with the Ads team on shared performance metrics.
Present organic strategies and results directly to US clients.
Implement AI-assisted workflows for research, content, and reporting.

REQUIREMENTS
8+ years of SEO experience, including 3+ years managing teams.
Agency experience managing multiple client accounts.
Proven Local SEO results in competitive US markets.
Experience with Google Business Profile, Local Pack rankings, citations, and review management.
Strong understanding of AEO/GEO and AI search visibility.
Working knowledge of paid search and blended CPL.
Excellent English communication skills—spoken and written.
Strong client-facing and presentation skills.
Experience managing team performance, deadlines, QA, and underperformers.
Home services or similar lead-generation industry experience is preferred.
