Job Core Purpose:

The Head of Finance/ Finance Controller is playing a crucial role in steering the financial health and well- being of the company, and its subsidiaries. They oversee the entire financial function, encompassing accounting, financial planning and analysis, risk management, and financial reporting. Their expertise and strategic decision-making significantly impact the company's financial performance and long-term sustainability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leading the development and implementation of the company's financial strategy, aligned with overall business objectives.
• Manage the accounting & finance team and optimize performance and growth through providing the needed mentorship, training, and development.
• oversees the financial planning and budgeting process, establishing financial targets, forecasting revenue and expenses, and allocating resources effectively.
• Consolidating the financial statements of the holding companies and all subsidiaries.
• Liaise with legal for all the relevant documentation, for the new investments.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timely reporting of all subsidiary financial statements. including a direct coordinate with subsidiaries finance/accounting leaders to review, analyse, and consolidate financial data.
• Monitor financial performance of subsidiaries against budgets and provide recommendations.
• Ensure all financial activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Provide the needed support and recommendations to senior management team to ensure data-driven decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvements in the efficiency and automation of accounting processes and systems.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
• oversee the company's treasury function, cash flow, liquidity, and mitigating financial risks.
• Lead the development, review, and implement finance policies, procedures, and standards.

Work Location: Mombasa, Kenya
Working Days: Monday - Saturday
Work Timings: 9 AM - 6 PM
