Overview

We're looking for a Business Analyst / Project Manager to join our distributed team and help deliver modern, high-performing web applications for global clients. You'll act as the bridge between stakeholders, designers, and engineers - translating business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and managing projects from discovery through to launch.

You will play a key role in ensuring clarity, alignment, and delivery excellence across teams and time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business goals, user needs, and technical requirements.
  • Translate ideas into structured documentation - including requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery, including roadmaps, timelines, dependencies, priorities, risks, and change requests.
  • Facilitate workshops, stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure all requirements and project updates are captured in tools such as Productive, Jira, or Trello, with clear traceability and version control.
  • Coordinate with design, development, QA, and marketing teams to ensure seamless handovers and delivery.
  • Provide transparent, timely status reporting and performance insights to clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, contributing to scalable delivery frameworks and knowledge-sharing practices.
  • Support quality assurance and UAT phases by validating requirements and test outcomes.
  • Uphold best practices in data protection, accessibility, and compliance standards where applicable.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or hybrid BA/PM in a digital, software development, or product environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working with international clients or globally distributed teams, with strong cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong understanding of modern web technologies including CMS platforms (Storyblok, Contentful, Payload), eCommerce frameworks, and API-driven architectures.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality documentation (user stories, workflows, wireframes, specifications, backlogs).
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills able to convey complex information clearly and confidently to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, requirements elicitation, and scope definition.
  • Experienced in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban delivery environments.
  • Proficient in project and collaboration tools (ClickUp, Jira, Trello, Confluence, Figma, Miro, Google Workspace, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-informed approach to decision-making.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive in managing multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working remotely across time zones, leading distributed teams, and maintaining high communication discipline.
  • Familiarity with KPIs, reporting dashboards, and basic financial or resource tracking for project oversight.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Next.js, TypeScript, or headless CMS workflows.
  • Experience in eCommerce, marketing automation, or analytics integration.
  • Exposure to UX design or QA processes.
  • Understanding of API documentation tools (e.g. Postman, Swagger).
  • Previous experience in sectors such as insurance, utilities, or franchised retail.
