Role Overview – Specialist Oracle Fusion HCM (Techno Functional)
PURPOSE
Ability to handle day-to-day operations and support for the Oracle Fusion HCM Modules, preferably on Core HR, Self Service, Absence, Payroll, Goals and Performance Modules, L&D, Talent, and Succession Modules. The role will be responsible for continuous enhancements, hands-on testing on product release management, optimization, and automation. You will be expected to do hands-on support of the Fusion HCM application in the portfolio based on the overall support framework, cater to incidents and service requests, and meet SLA targets against the agreed metrics regularly. You will be hands-on in technical & functional configurations and customizations, supporting configurations, rollouts, key enhancements, OTBI reports, and forms regularly as part of the continuous improvement journey, ensuring adherence to Oracle Fusion HCM coding standards, optimizing code, and ensuring acceptable levels of system performance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
STRATEGIC
Work as an Oracle HCM consultant with our Oracle Fusion HCM practice, responsible for supporting the HR & Payroll modules on Core HR, Self Service, Absence, Goals and Performance Management, Payroll, Visa Management, L&D, Talent Succession, and Rewards Modules.
Identify workarounds in the system and propose changes to customer business processes to solve certain issues and avoid redundancies in the processes.
Provide continuous post-go-live support to customers for issues to ensure issues are fixed within the SLA.
Provide frequent end-user training to ensure a reduction in issues due to user knowledge.
Use techno-functional expertise to recommend the most optimal solutions against business requirements. 6. Effectively manage demonstration of solution capabilities, perform fit-gap analysis, and bridge the GAPs through innovative solutions.
JOB DESCRIPTION
OPERATIONAL
Providing techno-functional support: Responsible for troubleshooting any technical & functional issues that arise with the system and ensuring that it is running smoothly and with acceptable levels of performance.
Ability to configure and roll out new Business Units across Various Oracle Fusion HCM Modules.
Provide techno-functional expertise and guidance on best practices for Oracle Fusion HCM configuration, development, and deployment.
Customizations: Use Oracle Fusion HCM development tools to implement customizations across the Oracle Fusion HCM track. Adept in writing complex queries and building complex reports using OTBI reporting or any other reporting tools.
Prepare & validate functional/technical design for custom solution and integrations.
Responsible for creating user manuals, training guides.
Strong working experience in the configuration of various HR Modules, 8. Strong working experience on OTBI reports, BIP reports, Sandbox personalization, HCM Design Studio, Redwood, and SQL.
People Management
Business Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Works closely with other departments within IT, with Internal IT teams, external vendor teams, and across business functions.
Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills are required to support working in project environments.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems.
At least 3 to 7 years of Oracle HCM Techno-functional experience in a support role.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Implementation knowledge is preferable.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL:
3-7 years of progressive experience as techno functional consultant in operationalizing the Employee Lifecycle, the HR Service Delivery Model, and delivering an exceptional employee experience.
In-depth technical and functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM Modules like CoreHR, Absence, Payroll, Goals and Performance, L&D, Talent, and succession, preferably in hands on support role.
Strong knowledge of HR Modules configuration.
Strong knowledge of Fast Formula, HDL, HSDL, and HCM extracts.
Strong knowledge of BIP, OTBI reports, and Sandbox personalization, custom roles, and BPM.
Strong knowledge of writing queries, data extraction, and supporting business on data validation.
Should have experience cultivating and supporting solutions across multiple HR functions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Developing testing scripts, test scenarios, and providing support in conducting UAT.
Conduct end-user training, develop training materials and manuals.
Conduct hands-on UAT for release management and ensure the successful fix of various bugs in the system.
Automations and continuous improvements.
EXPERIENCE:
3 to 7 years' experience implementing at least 2 Oracle Fusion HCM projects end-to-end and hands-on experience on technical & functional changes in an integrated solution ecosystem involving Oracle Fusion HCM.
