Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a small, developer-led team. You will work closely with two senior full stack developers, each with over 10 years of experience, contributing to the development of new features and the continuous improvement of production systems.

This role is suited to a developer who takes ownership of their work, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and is eager to understand the systems they build, the requirements behind them, and the challenges they aim to solve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance production software by building new features and improving existing functionality.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, from understanding requirements to implementation and delivery.
  • Work across frontend, backend, databases, and infrastructure as needed.
  • Investigate technical requirements, challenge assumptions, and identify practical, scalable solutions.
  • Navigate unfamiliar codebases and technologies, becoming productive quickly.
  • Make informed technical decisions by evaluating trade-offs, limitations, and long-term implications.
  • Use AI tools effectively while independently validating outputs and applying sound technical judgment.
  • Communicate technical concepts, decisions, and challenges clearly in English.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience building and maintaining production software in real-world environments.
  • Strong expertise in at least one or two programming languages and their ecosystems, including a deep understanding of their trade-offs, limitations, common failure modes, and scalability challenges.
  • Broad experience with additional programming languages, frameworks, databases, and infrastructure, with the ability to adapt to different technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar.
  • Strong fundamentals in TypeScript and JavaScript.
  • Solid backend development experience using Go, TypeScript, or other relevant programming languages.
  • Strong database fundamentals, including experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with caching technologies such as Redis or equivalent solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical reasoning skills.
  • The ability to understand business and technical requirements, challenge assumptions, and select solutions based on the problem rather than personal technology preferences.
  • Effective use of AI-assisted development tools, with the ability to critically evaluate their outputs and work independently.
  • Strong English communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and decisions clearly.

Experience with any of the following would be an advantage:

  • ClickHouse
  • OpenSearch
  • Distributed systems
  • Large-scale datasets
  • High-throughput applications

What We're Looking For

We value developers who combine technical depth with versatility. You should have deep expertise in a few technologies while remaining comfortable working across different tools, frameworks, and systems.

You should also have experience dealing with the challenges that emerge over time, including debugging complex issues, maintaining production systems, managing technical trade-offs, and evolving software as requirements and scale change.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is curious, adaptable, takes ownership, and can turn complex problems into practical, well-reasoned solutions.

Work Mode: Onsite - Full Time
Location: Remote
Experience: 5+ years
Days: Monday to Friday
Timing: Minimum 8 hours/day, Monday - Friday but you're free to work up to 14 hours/day
Salary: Market Competitive
