Job Description:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities in air freight, sea freight, LCL/FCL, project cargo, customs brokerage, and supply chain solutions. This role requires strong industry knowledge, a proactive sales mindset, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets in freight forwarding and logistics services.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry events.
- Manage and expand relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Prepare and present customized logistics solutions and competitive quotations to clients.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with customers.
- Collaborate with operations, customer service, and overseas agents to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
- Track sales performance, pipeline, and revenue growth through regular reporting.
- Stay updated with international trade trends, shipping routes, and freight market fluctuations.
- Represent ACB Logistics at industry forums, exhibitions, and business meetings.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of proven experience in sales/business development within freight forwarding or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of air freight, sea freight (LCL/FCL), and customs clearance procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Work Timings / Day:
Monday to Friday 9:00 AM - 06:00 PM
Alternate Saturdays 10:00 AM - 03: 00 PM
Work Mode: Onsite
Location: Karachi, Pakistan
