We're hiring an Accounts Assistant

Pakistan's Leading Manufacturers of high-quality packages with over 30 yrs of excellence in packaging industry is hiring Accounts Assistant for it's Karachi office.

Job Description:

This role is directly stationed within our manufacturing operation pipeline and is responsible for capturing, verifying, and logging all daily floor metrics. Accurate data tracking is vital to managing our production efficiency, minimizing scrap, and maintaining tight control over raw material conversion.

Qualifications

• Production & Yield Logging: Accurately input daily operational parameters from factory floor logs, including machine runtime, setups, outputs, and job breakdown data.
• Material Consumption Tracking: Record precise weights and details of substrates used (BOPP, PET, PE, CPP) and lamination inputs (Solventless/Solvent-based adhesive batches).
• Wastage & Scrap Auditing: Log specific waste metrics across our Rotogravure printing, Flexographic printing, extrusion, and slitting lines to help monitor overall plant efficiency.
• Verification & Reconciliation: Cross-check raw physical floor sheets against system entries to identify discrepancies before closing daily batch records.
• Inventory Synchronization: Assist the supply chain team by logging finished roll inventories, core weights, and remaining floor-stock raw materials.
• Operational Reporting: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly floor performance and waste summary reports for the Plant Management and Executive teams.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree: A background that includes basic understanding of mathematics, accounting, or industrial metrics is preferred.
  
• Experience: Around 2 years of proven data entry experience. Direct experience working in an industrial manufacturing plant, factory, or warehousing environment is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: High-speed alphanumeric data entry skills with a strict target for zero errors. Robust hands-on command of Microsoft Excel (formulas, data tables) and familiarity with basic database systems or ERP software.
• Attention to Detail: Absolute precision when dealing with multi-layered numbers, product codes, unit conversions (KG, GSM, Microns), and job run counts.
• Work Ethic: Strong integrity, discipline to work diligently in a fast-paced manufacturing facility, and an ability to work collaboratively with floor supervisors and engineers.

Experience:  1 year - 2 years

Location: FB Area, Karachi

Work Timings: 10AM - 7PM

Work Days: Monday to Saturday
