Our Client is a Pakistan-based, DRAP-registered pharmaceutical manufacturing and marketing company, operating in full compliance with annual GMP and regulatory inspections.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Blockchain Engineer with expertise across smart contracts, backend architecture, and cross-chain interoperability. This position requires a deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals, decentralized systems, and wallet infrastructure. The ideal candidate will help design, build, and optimize our cross-chain wallet ecosystem and backend systems to ensure seamless, secure, and scalable operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy smart contracts on multiple blockchains (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, Polygon).
  • Architect and maintain cross-chain communication and interoperability solutions (bridges, relayers, oracles, etc.).
  • Develop secure and scalable backend APIs and services for wallet management and blockchain integration.
  • Work closely with front-end teams to integrate blockchain functions into user interfaces.
  • Ensure security best practices for blockchain and backend infrastructure, including audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to optimize deployment pipelines and node infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance, transactions, and address scalability or latency issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest blockchain frameworks, protocols, and interoperability standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in blockchain development or backend engineering
  • Strong proficiency in Solidity, Rust, or Go (experience in multiple is a plus).
  • Experience with EVM-compatible blockchains and Layer 2 scaling solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, or Python for backend development.
  • Knowledge of cross-chain protocols, wallet SDKs, and crypto custody systems.
  • Experience with Web3.js, ethers.js, and blockchain APIs (Infura, Alchemy, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of cryptography, key management, and transaction signing.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
