Role Overview
We are looking for an energetic Upwork Specialist with a minimum of one year of experience in managing Upwork-based client acquisition and operations. As part of our Business Development (BD) team, you will drive growth by optimizing our presence on Upwork, cultivating high-value client relationships, and helping shape our global footprint through freelance platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize the Upwork profile, ensuring a compelling showcase of our AI, design, and development services.
- Research and identify suitable projects; craft and submit compelling proposals aligned with our strategic offerings.
- Collaborate closely with the BD team to develop tailored pitches and persuasive messaging.
- Serve as the primary communicator for prospective clientshandling inquiries, managing follow-ups, and progressing leads.
- Monitor proposal performance, document metrics, and share weekly insights with the BD Manager.
- Stay attuned to relevant industry trends, competitors, and platform dynamics to refine approaches on Upwork.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience working on Upwork, including profile management, bid strategy, proposal development, and client interaction.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent written communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Basic understanding of AI services, web/app development, or digital marketinga plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity for independent work and seamless collaboration under the BD umbrella.
