About the Role

The Owner's Representative in Pakistan will be responsible for ensuring that the Group's trade, commercial, operational, and financial objectives are achieved in conjunction with the appointed third-party agent.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the transition from the current third-party agency model (SeaExpert) to RHS/Sharaf or any newly appointed agency, ensuring compliance with the Principal's requirements.
• Establish Transliner as the leading NVOCC in Pakistan by expanding market share across core trade lanes and achieving targeted loading patterns.
• Reduce empty repositioning ratios by developing 40' HC volumes to Southeast Asia, Far East, and Red Sea regions.
• Build and expand Transliner's direct customer base while strengthening relationships with Global Key Accounts (GKAs) operating in Pakistan.
• Increase Transliner's reefer business volumes and optimize equipment utilization.
• Oversee depot operations, implement SOPs, and ensure adherence to Group KPIs.
• Ensure appointed depots comply with FIFO policies and Group M&R standards.
• Benchmark local import and export tariffs to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
• Improve detention collection performance and enhance contribution per unit.
• Coordinate with local agents to improve SOA remittance processes in line with Group guidelines.
• Evaluate business expansion opportunities in Lahore and Islamabad.
• Obtain and manage Transliner's Port Code for direct terminal operations.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry statistics to support business decisions.
• Assess the ISO Tank market in Pakistan and identify potential business opportunities.
• Develop a business proposal for establishing Transliner's own office in Karachi.
• Lead the transition from the agency model to Transliner's own office operations upon approval.
• As Country Manager, ensure the achievement of the Group's commercial, operational, trade, and financial objectives in Pakistan.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the shipping, logistics, NVOCC, freight forwarding, or maritime industry.
• Strong knowledge of import/export operations, container shipping, depot management, and trade lanes.
• Experience managing third-party agents, partners, and operational transitions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop business strategies and expand market share.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, tariff benchmarking, and revenue optimization.
• Experience in customer acquisition, key account management, and stakeholder relationship management.
• Knowledge of reefer operations, container equipment management, and ISO Tank business is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate market trends and competitor activities.
• Experience in establishing business operations or managing organizational transitions is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive business growth initiatives.
