The Opportunity:
Our client, a leading electrical contractor, seeks a Field Lead for their Construction Group. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating daily project operations and team members to meet safety, customer satisfaction, performance, and profitability objectives. You will work closely with Project Management and Superintendent Groups to ensure work completion meets all safety, schedule, and quality requirements.
Your leadership and development capabilities will be critical to achieve the client's organizational goals while effectively utilizing and developing your team to meet company values.
Essential Duties
- Maintain and communicate 100% commitment to uncompromised safety expectations
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Coordinate and manage day-to-day field operations, including safety protocols, workforce management, materials, and equipment
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate project teams
- Collaborate with Project Manager and Superintendent on scope completion
- Plan and layout work areas to optimize resource allocation
- Coordinate electrical work with general contractor and subcontractors
- Support project pricing and change order estimations
- Monitor installation quality control
- Manage daily progress reports and weekly time reporting
- Verify material shipments against purchase orders
- Maintain and track tools and equipment inventory
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years electrical field experience in construction projects with crew leadership experience
- Current Kentucky Electrical License (EE or ME)
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency in reading construction blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Extensive knowledge of NEC and electrical installation processes
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong computer skills
- Professional demeanor and high integrity
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
