The Opportunity:
The OB/GYN Physician will provide professional medical services including planning, directing, and evaluating resident and employee health care in the Glendive Medical Center Gabert Clinic; examine and treat chronic and acute episodic illnesses, minor injuries, accidents, and other injuries/illnesses; performs selected laboratory testing; write prescriptions and perform office procedures within the scope of expertise, protocols, and available equipment. The Physician will also collaborate with a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner in the care and treatment of patients. This position is a low volume call position with a one and two call rotation structure.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Treat patients and perform clinic procedures and physical examinations related to licensing and specialty.
- Examine new patients to orient them with services and identify patient needs and treatment plans.
- Maintain appropriate records (including business/medical records) relating to all professional services rendered and/or recommended.
- Responsible for the timely completion of documentation in patient records.
- Prepare and maintain all reports, claims, and correspondence necessary or appropriate to the performance of professional services.
- Attend professional conventions, post-graduate seminars, and continuing medical education programs to maintain and enhance Physician's professional skill and participate in professional societies on a reasonable basis.
- Provide coverage when other physician employees at the facilities at which Physician practices are unavailable due to vacations, holidays, illness, or attendance at professional activities.
- Acts as a resource person for decisions, planning, and policies affecting the health of patients and staff.
- Collaborate with staff to identify patients' needs and to help develop plans to meet these needs.
- Serves as a member of committees dealing with health care.
- Perform other duties as assigned that are commensurate with professional services normally performed by physician.

Education and Experience:
- Successful completion of an accredited MD or DO program.
- Board Certified or Eligibility to become Board Certified.
- Must be currently licensed in the state of Montana.
- Two (2) years of experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift 100 pounds to assist fallen residents.
- Able to lift 10 pounds for routine performance of essential functions.
- May be exposed to adverse indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.
