The Opportunity:

As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will work with a variety of equipment, ensuring optimal performance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, rooftop units, and split systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
  • Install new HVAC systems and components as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions or inefficiencies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues and offering solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory usage.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC technician (commercial experience preferred).
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or HVAC certification is a plus.
  • Licenses/Certifications: EPA Certification (required); additional certifications (e.g., NATE) are a bonus.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
