Requirements:

  • 10–12 years of proven Sales & Business Development experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Demonstrated success selling as a contractor/sub-contractor to leading global energy companies and EPC contractors at headquarters level.
  • Strong track record in brownfield upgrade and modernization projects.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
  • French national, with native-level proficiency in French and C1/C2-level proficiency in English for business and technical communication.
  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems, DCS/PLC, electrical systems, field instrumentation, and integrated industrial solutions.
  • Strong executive presence and cultural fluency.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Commercially astute with credible technical depth.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable operating in multicultural environments across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, map, and build trusted relationships with technical, procurement, and project management stakeholders at the headquarters of leading global energy companies and EPC contractors.
  • Present and position the Company as a preferred solution partner for Automation, Electrical, Digital, Skids, and Wellhead Control Panels.
  • Lead and complete headquarters-level and product-specific prequalifications across all relevant disciplines.
  • Secure and maintain project-specific prequalifications and vendor registrations.
  • Proactively track brownfield upgrades, digital transformation, and greenfield capital projects originating from global headquarters.
  • Map project managers and engineering leads responsible for global execution.
  • Build and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline.
  • Convert relationships into RFQs issued in the Company's name.
  • Participate in greenfield and brownfield projects.
  • Influence technical specifications prior to tender.
  • Coordinate with proposal, engineering, and execution teams to deliver competitive, winning bids.
  • Travel regularly to operating countries in Africa to align headquarters stakeholders with local site teams.
  • Strengthen local relationships to improve win ratio.
  • Support technical and commercial clarifications and contract negotiations to maximize win rate.
