NOC L1 Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years experience in a NOC or similar environment.
• Basic understanding of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) would be preferred.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to work in a shift-based environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor network systems, servers, and applications to ensure high availability and performance.
• Perform initial triage of incidents and troubleshoot network issues.
• Respond to alerts and escalations, ensuring timely resolution or escalation to higher-level engineers.
• Document incidents, actions taken, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Assist in the maintenance and upgrade of network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues.
