Backend Developer - PHP (Onsite, Lahore, PKR Salary)

Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and maintain APIs for seamless functionality.
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Data migration, transformation, and scripting.
• Database creation, integration, and management.g. MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, and OpenSearch.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
• Familiarity with continuous integration (CI).

Requirements:

• 4-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or a Master's degree in CS/IT or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years in a senior backend role.
• Write backend code and develop efficient PHP modules.
• Tackle complex performance and architectural challenges while integrating data storage solutions.
• Actively contribute to all software development phases, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed.
• Strong experience in custom frameworks and managing complex business logic.
• Familiarity with Mapbox, Google Places API, and the TFL Underground API.
• Extensive experience with MySQL Server, including in-depth knowledge of the EAV (Entity-Attribute-Value) database structure.
• Solid understanding of cloud best practices.
• Proficiency in back-end programming languages, PHP, C, C#, JavaScript, etc.
• Magento experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of GraphQL.
• Frontend experience with React or Angular.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Familiarity with SCRUM Agile workflows.
