QA Automation Engineer - (US Timings, Onsite Lahore)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium for web applications.
• Design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategies.
• Perform automated testing for frontend and backend components.
• Collaborate with backend teams using .NET Core, ASP.NET, and REST APIs for microservices testing.
• Execute frontend testing using frameworks like Angular/React, and tools such as Jasmine or Selenium.
• Document and manage defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla.
• Conduct performance testing with JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Perform security testing and identify vulnerabilities using OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure software quality throughout the SDLC.
• Mentor junior QA engineers, fostering a quality-driven work environment.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in automated testing frameworks such as Selenium.
• Knowledge of backend development and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, Bugzilla).
• Expertise in performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
