Requirements:
- Bachelors or equivalent Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in data quality, data governance, or data management.
- Proficiency in any Data Quality & Governance tool (e.g., Informatica DQ, Talend DQ, Collibra, Alation or similar).
- Strong understanding of data quality dimensions, frameworks, and best practices.
- Experience in data cleansing, profiling, and standardization techniques.
- Knowledge of data lineage, metadata management, and master data management (MDM).
- Hands-on experience in SQL for data validation and quality checks.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, policies, and compliance standards.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to implement governance initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address data quality issues.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to advocate for data governance best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain data quality and governance frameworks across the project.
- Ensure compliance with data quality dimensions (accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, uniqueness, validity).
- Utilize data quality and governance tools to monitor, profile, and cleanse data.
- Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to define data ownership, stewardship, and lineage.
- Establish and maintain data quality rules, validation checks, and monitoring dashboards.
- Identify data inconsistencies, anomalies, and root causes to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and training to teams on data governance best practices.
- Support regulatory and compliance requirements related to data privacy and security.
- Work with data engineers to ensure data pipelines and storage solutions meet governance standards.
