Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years in QA or technical roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position managing remote teams.
  • Industry experience in E-commerce, FinTech, or Subscription-based environments is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in QA automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter/JUnit), release management tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., Odoo), CRM, Rest APIs, AWS, Jira, and Confluence.
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Proven ability to enforce and advocate for quality processes across the organization.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation in QA practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all QA activities, including manual and automated testing, ensuring seamless product lifecycles.
  • Implement, monitor, and enforce quality processes to align with organizational and industry standards.
  • Identify and address gaps in existing QA workflows, driving initiatives for automation and process improvement.
  • Ensure the reliability and performance of applications across all environments.
  • Own the release management lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating releases across multiple environments.
  • Develop and manage reporting metrics, risk assessments, and rollback strategies.
  • Monitor releases for compliance with industry standards, data security, and system reliability.
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration to ensure smooth and aligned deployments.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a distributed team of QA engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Establish and promote best practices for collaboration and team evaluation in a remote working environment.
  • Serve as the escalation point for QA and release-related issues, ensuring timely resolutions.
