Big Data QA Automation (Onsite, Lahore, PKR Salary)

Requirements:

• 4+ years of technical QA experience in Big Data technologies.
• 2-3 years of experience with test automation frameworks.
• Proficient in Python, Pytest, Robot, and SQL for Big Data testing.
• Experience with Apache Spark and Big Data cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Data Testing Strategies (data, process, outcome validation, code coverage).
• Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Hands-on experience in ETL/ELT validation and automating tests for diverse data sources (Relational, NoSQL, XML, Cloud, Flat Files).
• Expertise in performance, security, migration, architecture, and visualization testing.
• Experience setting up tests, software installations, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic, Grafana.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional, multi-cultural teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and automate processes for gathering of expected results from data sources and comparing data results from testing.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of smoke, performance, functional, and regression tests to ensure code is functioning as designed.
• Work with the team to understand how changes in the DL affect maintenance of test scripts and the automated testing environments.
• Own the test automation framework and build appropriate test automation where needed.
• Write, monitor, execute, and evaluate application tests using industry standard automated testing tools.
• Set up data, tools, and databases to facilitate the testing process.
• Develop and maintain constructive working relationships within team and other functional teams.
