DevOps Engineer - Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (Onsite, Lahore, PKR Salary)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and associated services.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, tools, and methodologies.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or GitOps.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Certifications in Oracle Cloud and/or DevOps are a plus.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Adaptability to rapidly changing environments and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage OCI resources, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Implement and monitor security measures across cloud environments to maintain data integrity and compliance.
• Optimize OCI resources for cost-efficiency and performance.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment of applications and infrastructure.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or GitOps.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to streamline processes and improve system reliability.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and security, and take proactive measures to address issues.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to automate the setup and management of cloud resources.
• Work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and IT operations to ensure smooth transitions and deployment of new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Stay updated with the latest OCI and DevOps tools, trends, and best practices.
• Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of cloud and DevOps operations.
