Requirements:

  • Strong background in carbon accounting, climate technology, or energy systems.
  • Proven experience working with MRV frameworks (Measurement, Reporting, Verification).
  • Experience with carbon standards, ISO methodologies, GHG Protocol, or voluntary carbon markets.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy production (solar, wind, biogas, CHP, etc.).
  • Ability to translate environmental and carbon methodologies into technical system logic.
  • Experience working with energy data sources such as SCADA systems, smart meters, industrial data logs, or similar datasets.
  • Experience designing data integrity frameworks, audit trails, and validation processes.
  • Ability to collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Senior/Lead level experience preferred, with the ability to design systems at an infrastructure scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and structure MRV methodologies aligned with international carbon and environmental standards.
  • Develop calculation models for CO avoidance linked to renewable energy generation and consumption.
  • Work with energy production data, measurement systems, and operational datasets to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Define validation rules, versioning logic, and methodological frameworks for carbon certification processes.
  • Design audit trails and data integrity mechanisms to ensure transparency and verification readiness.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate MRV logic into system architecture and workflows.
  • Support development of certification and evidence frameworks for carbon and energy reporting.
  • Contribute to compliance readiness for emissions trading systems and voluntary carbon markets.
  • Maintain documentation of methodologies, data structures, and validation processes.
  • Support continuous improvement of carbon measurement and reporting systems.
