DevOps Engineer (Onsite, Karachi, PKR Salary)

Requirements:

• 3–6 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, cloud engineering, or infrastructure, with hands-on experience with AWS, Tencent Cloud, or Azure and a strong understanding of core cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with Terraform or another Infrastructure as Code tool.
• Understanding of security, IAM, secrets management, and operational best practices.
• Experience with Azure.
• Experience supporting high-traffic OTT or streaming platforms.
• Knowledge of autoscaling, CDN, caching, databases, and distributed systems.
• Relevant AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications.
• Automation and reliability mindset, with strong incident response and root-cause analysis skills.
• Security-conscious approach to infrastructure management, with clear documentation and collaborative technical communication.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for web, mobile, backend, and data services.
• Manage cloud infrastructure primarily across AWS, with exposure to Azure where required.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code.
• Containerize and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability practices.
• Support secure, reliable, and repeatable production deployments.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Security, and Product teams.
• Investigate incidents, performance issues, and infrastructure bottlenecks.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, scalability, and availability practices.
• Improve deployment speed, operational efficiency, and infrastructure cost visibility.
