Security Engineer (Post-sales, Fortinet)

Our client is a leading IT Solutions Provider looking for a high-caliber Security Engineer to join their project team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, and support of robust security infrastructures for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Implementation: Lead the design, planning, and documentation of complex network security projects, including SD-WAN, SASE, and Cloud platforms.
• Technical Expertise: Install, configure, and manage high-end security products (Firewalls, WAF, VPN, and Load Balancers).
• Client Advisory: Collaborate closely with customers' security teams to establish technical roadmaps and build long-term trust.
• Project Coordination: Oversee project schedules and resources, liaising with vendors and third parties to ensure on-time delivery.
• Incident Response: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve critical network and security incidents.
• Technical Leadership: Act as an escalation point to mentor junior engineers on complex security cases.

Requirements:

• Education: Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in a System Integrator (SI) or project-based environment.
• Product Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Palo Alto (PCNSE), Check Point, and F5 Load Balancers.
• Technical Scope: Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, SASE, Remote Access VPN, and Cloud Networking (AWS/Azure).
• Network Fundamentals: Familiar with Cisco networking protocols (OSPF, BGP, IPSEC, QoS).
• Certifications: Professional certs like PCNSE, CISSP, CISA, or CEH are highly advantageous.
• Soft Skills: Analytical mindset with fluent communication in English and Cantonese.
