Job Overview
As an Senior HR Consultant, you will advise and partner with senior leadership and key business managers to drive human capital strategies, optimize talent acquisition, and implement HR solutions. You will provide strategic and operational advisory for the company's education, overseas study consulting, and cross-border service operations in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Advisory & Workforce Planning: Advise management on staffing requirements, workforce allocation, and talent strategy aligned with business expansion across Hong Kong and Mainland China.
- Talent Acquisition & Selection Strategy: Consult on and lead full-cycle recruitment strategies for education consultants, business development, student services, administration, and executive management roles.
- Cross-border Talent Integration: Oversee HR framework alignment for Mainland and Hong Kong personnel, facilitating cross-border mobility, seamless onboarding, and inter-regional stakeholder communication.
- Organisational Development & Structuring: Conduct position assessments, define reporting structures, and provide guidance on organizational redesign and workforce optimization during business expansion.
- Performance & Talent Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to management on employee development, performance management frameworks, talent retention, and employee relations solutions.
- HR Analytics & Business Intelligence: Analyze workforce data—including headcount, recruitment metrics, turnover, and labor costs—and deliver actionable insights and executive reporting to management.
- HR Transformation & Project Management: Lead strategic HR initiatives, including cross-border talent programs, process optimization, HR digital tools integration, and managing partnerships with external professional service providers.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in HR consulting, HR business partnering, corporate HR, or talent acquisition, preferably within education, professional services, consumer services, or a diversified group environment.
- Functional Expertise: Proven track record in mid-to-senior talent sourcing, organizational design,workforce planning, and providing consulting-level support to business leaders.
- Cross-border Competency: Practical experience supporting Mainland China and Hong Kong cross-border operations, talent mobility, and cross-regional HR coordination.
- Core Competencies: Strong knowledge of end-to-end HR processes, talent management frameworks, labor practices, and consultative problem-solving skills.
- Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) and English to effectively consult with Mainland and Hong Kong stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), HR systems/analytics platforms, and digital recruitment tools.
