About Our Client

Our client is a large state-controlled integrated energy conglomerate with businesses spanning oil & gas exploration, refining, trading, and new energy sectors. With operational presence in Hong Kong and overseas, the company is a key member of a well-established listed group. Backed by a solid corporate structure and robust governance, the company is currently expanding its finance team in Hong Kong.

Job responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts (including AR, AP, general ledger, fixed assets, etc.)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management accounts
• Assist in budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial analysis
• Support annual audit activities and liaise with external auditors
• Review invoices, expense reimbursements, and payment arrangements
• Ensure financial operations comply with company policies and relevant accounting standards
• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by superiors
• Assist in compliance checks related to taxation and statutory requirements (as assigned).

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• At least 3 years of full-set accounting experience (experience in energy, trading, or manufacturing sectors is a plus)
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software (e.g Kingdee金蝶)
• Excellent in spoken and written English and Chinese
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, able to work independently and meet deadlines
