About Our Client:

Our client is a prominent public utility organization in Hong Kong dedicated to improving services for the elderly. They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead the development of strategies and policies for their Elderly Services division.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior management to formulate comprehensive strategies, plans, and policies aligned with corporate goals for the Elderly Services division.
  • Devise and execute promotional plans and activities through diverse channels, including mass media and social media, to raise awareness and engagement with the services.
  • Oversee the operational aspects of services and facilities, ensuring efficient resource utilization and adherence to corporate strategies and financial targets.
  • Monitor service administration, team coordination, and system development, conducting evaluations to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with local and international elderly/community service providers, professional organizations, government departments, user groups, foundations, and private agencies.
  • Act as a representative of the Social and Elderly Wellness Section (SEWS) in relevant meetings, working groups, and conferences as needed.
  • Undertake any other duties assigned by the supervisor that contribute to the overall goals of the organization.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • A bachelor's degree in social work, healthcare, or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent qualifications will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in serving the elderly, family, or community, with at least 8 years in a management position. Possessing gerontology/management qualifications will be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, exceptional interpersonal skills, and effective communication abilities.
  • Experience in operating self-financing services will be highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with social services delivery processes, cost control, and budgeting.
  • Fluent spoken English and Cantonese, with strong written proficiency in both English and Chinese.
