About the role

This individual will assume a strong leadership role on project governance, project construction, risk management including stakeholder management. He/she needs to have strong project management experience who will drive project execution, change management and team collaboration across various functions and business units.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Work closely with operations and back-office departments for business requirement gathering and provide recommendations and solutions with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks and escalate if required
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and prepare reports for leadership and key stakeholders
  • Manage the vendors selection process, system procurement and contract negotiation with shortlisted vendors
  • Work with external vendor to participate and oversee full project life cycle, including business requirement gathering, gap analysis, design specifications, data integration, system integration and user acceptance testing and training
  • Manage and collaborate with vendors to ensure that the project is delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
  • Organize and lead project meetings and compile project status report to stakeholders and project team to drive deliverables to schedule and develop resolutions to mitigation risks/issues

Knowledge and Skills

  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology discipline with significant project management experience
  • Minimally 6 years project management and team leadership experience with proven track record in successfully leading ERP project from start to finish
  • Well organized with the ability to work under pressure and deliver work to good standard
  • Solid practical experience with Microsoft Dynamic suite is a plus
  • Good understanding of financial concepts and accounting terms is an advantage
  • Results-oriented team player with strong communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organization influence skills, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Strong internal stakeholder management and vendor management skills
  • Ability to lead and drive change management
  • Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
