Design Engineer

About our client:

Our client is a renowned construction company in Hong Kong. They are looking for a Design Engineer to join their growing team.

Job Description:

• Prepare shop /BD drawings and other documents including drawing approval, calculation approval, approval letters, etc.
• Coordinate with the architect, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical problems
• Attend the contractor meeting and design workshop
• Develop cost-effective design and monitor, manage the drawing submission schedule
• Attend regular inter-department meetings and follow-up matters arises

• Perform other duties or ad hoc task as assigned

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in Construction related discipline
• Minimum 1-3 year of experience in project management

• Proficient in AutoCAD and PC operations such as MS Word, Excel

• Experience in steel structure, knowledge in BIM will be an advantage
• Candidates with more experiences will be considered as Senior Project Engineer
• Candidates with structural design experiences will be considered as Assistant Project Engineer
